Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses: a Practical Approach. New course from the Swiss School of Public Health+

We are happy to announce the upcoming course from the Swiss School of Public Health+ (SSPH+) on Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses.

This 2-day course will cover theoretical and practical aspects of conducting systematic reviews, including literature searches, data
extraction and presentation, assessment of study quality and examination for biases. The statistical methods for combining results in meta-analysis will also be covered and the course will include practical exercises in STATA

The course will be held on 25-26 April 2013 at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM) in Bern, Switzerland and will be facilitated by Professor Matthias Egger, as well as several PhD students from ISPM Bern.
