Katia Perini is adjunct professor and postdoctoral researcher at the Polytechnic School of University of Genoa, Italy. Her research interests include environmental, economic and social benefits of vegetation at building scale (vertical greening systems) and at neighborhood-city scale (green infrastructure for urban ecology). Research interests were deepened thanks to international collaborations with the Delft University of Technology, Columbia University and Technische Universität München.
