We have talked to you in the past for the use of mobile applications for health (not only <a href=\"http:\/\/ijph.blogs.springer.com\/food-for-thought\/490\/\">once <\/a>but <a href=\"http:\/\/ijph.blogs.springer.com\/food-for-thought\/scientific-journals-on-the-go-the-use-of-mobile-applications-in-health-continued\/\">twice<\/a>). Today we are back with a few additions to those lists.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.appmakr.app233501&amp;feature=more_from_developer#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEwMiwiY29tLmFwcG1ha3IuYXBwMjMzNTAxIl0.\">Public Health Core Journals<\/a>: This is a RSS-reader with journals indexed as &#8220;Public Health&#8221; in The Abridged Index Medicus (free of charge)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.sheridan.nationshealth&amp;feature=search_result\">The Nation&#8217;s Health<\/a>: The monthly newspaper of the American Health Association (free of charge)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=appinventor.ai_jason_salemi.myEpiTableLite&amp;feature=more_from_developer\">myEpiTable LITE<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=appinventor.ai_jason_salemi.myEpiTablePro&amp;feature=more_from_developer#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEwMiwiYXBwaW52ZW50b3IuYWlfamFzb25fc2FsZW1pLm15RXBpVGFibGVQcm8iXQ..\">myEpiTable PRO<\/a>: The former is the free version and the latter the full, paying version of the same application. These applications perform epidemiological calculations and promises to make epidemiology fun!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/app\/skyscape-medical-resources\/id293170168?mt=8\">Skyscape Medical Resources<\/a> , a free application with a lot of medical resources, including drug information, medical calculators and clinical information on over 850 topics.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.agilemedicine.sbsn\">Outbreak Watch<\/a> application analyzes social networks and provides real-time analysis specifically for public health officials and healthcare professionals, but is available to everyone for free.
