New course from the Swiss School of Public Health+"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to announce the upcoming course from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ssphplus.ch\/spip.php?page=ssph_home&amp;lang=de\">Swiss School of Public Health<\/a>+ (SSPH+) on Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses.<\/p>\n<p>This 2-day course will cover theoretical and practical aspects of conducting systematic reviews, including literature searches, data<br \/>\nextraction and presentation, assessment of study quality and examination for biases. The statistical methods for combining results in meta-analysis will also be covered and the course will include practical exercises in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stata.com\/\">STATA<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The course will be held on <strong>25-26 April 2013<\/strong> at the <a href=\"www.ispm.ch\">Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine<\/a> (ISPM) in Bern, Switzerland and will be facilitated by Professor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ispm.ch\/index.php?id=375&amp;no_cache=1&amp;tx_aumstaffrecord_pi1[aum_staffrecord]=21&amp;tx_aumstaffrecord_pi1[backPid]=341\">Matthias Egger<\/a>, as well as several PhD students from ISPM Bern.<\/p>\n<p>Interested?
