Best paper on environmental and health equity"},"content":{"rendered":"<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1820 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.springer.com\/ijph\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/2016\/08\/award.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"329\" height=\"378\" \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A while ago we opened a <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.springer.com\/ijph\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/2017\/07\/IJPHCALLEnvironmentalandHealthEquity2017.pdf\">call for papers\u00a0<\/a>called &#8220;Environmental and health equity&#8221; with the occasion of the <a href=\"http:\/\/ecohealth2018.co\/\">EcoHealth Conference<\/a>\u00a0(which will be held on 15-18 August 2018 in Cali, Colombia).<\/p>\n<p>We received a lot of submissions and some papers were finally accepted for publication, after peer review. Out of those, 3 were pre-selected for taking part in the voting process by experts in the field. This process is now completed and we are happy to announce the winner! Collecting <strong>42%<\/strong> of the 71 anonymous votes, the winner is&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kai Liu<\/strong>, from the Department of Social Security,<a href=\"http:\/\/slhr.ruc.edu.cn\/en\/index.asp\"> School of Labor and Human Resources<\/a>, Renmin University of China in Beijing,\u00a0with the paper called &#8220;Health inequality and community-based health insurance: a case study of rural Rwanda with repeated cross-sectional data\u201d. This paper is <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s00038-018-1115-5\">available to download<\/a>\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/epdf\/10.1007\/s00038-018-1115-5?shared_access_token=gX2cApTZH4-BwiMUF59EX_e4RwlQNchNByi7wbcMAY4FZfXBou5yQmEtq1DMfy-9S5gH8Q55g4SkYIiiwdmo4bTBDfcL1XxX-Kjrc5uOOVWdZgdmITHb4H9apzfaS7Nd5XywlP2a2F2PWXRyu5ca2JCOEXNT_9ZYCB8bbOfCJIg%3D\">pdf<\/a> here).
