Seven thousand people in a weekend. This came shortly <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/April_2015_Mediterranean_Sea_migrant_shipwrecks\">after almost 1,500 estimated people died in April alone<\/a>, while attempting to reach Europe. Crying over the tragedy is not enough and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2015\/apr\/22\/uns-francois-crepeau-on-the-refugee-crisis-instead-of-resisting-migration-lets-organise-it#comments\">voices have been raised<\/a> for the need for something to be really done.<\/p>\n<p>In this spirit, we <a href=\"http:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s00038-015-0689-4\/fulltext.html\">just published an Editorial<\/a> by\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uni-bielefeld.de\/gesundhw\/ag3\/mitarbeiter\/Razum.html\">Oliver Razum <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klinikum.uni-heidelberg.de\/Bozorgmehr-Kayvan.130219.0.html\">Kayvan Bozorgmehr<\/a>, looking at the issue with a focus on public health.
