We are! So we are very happy that the upcoming (the 9th to be precise) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ectmihbasel2015.ch\/ectmih2015\/home.html\">European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health<\/a> is going to be held here in Switzerland (Basel, from 6-10 September 2015). This Congress&#8217; main focus is summarized in the following sentence: &#8220;Driving the best Science to meet Global Health Challenges&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>You can find a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ectmihbasel2015.ch\/ectmih2015\/scientificprogramme\/preliminary-conference-programme.html\">preliminary scientific program<\/a> here: many issues will be discussed, including health and social systems and their determinants, methodology, social and cultural issues of global health, disease systems etc. One of the main &#8220;tracks&#8221; of the conference is going to focus on challenges of global health in the post-MDA area, an issue<a href=\"http:\/\/globalhealth.thelancet.com\/2013\/06\/25\/research-priorities-post-2015-era\"> identified as a research priority<\/a> by the Lancet Global Health.<\/p>\n<p>You can <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ectmihbasel2015.ch\/ectmih2015\/abstracts\/call-for-abstracts.html\">still submit your abstracts<\/a> (until April 09th, 2015). And don&#8217;t forget that IJPH has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.congrex-switzerland.com\/fileadmin\/files\/2015\/ectmih2015\/pdf\/IJPH-Call-for-Global-Health-Reviews-2014.pdf\">a call for reviews<\/a> in connection to this Congress and the best one will win an award!
